Original pine floorboard repair and restoration

Last week saw an original pine floorboard restoration.

There was an area (seen in first picture below) with quite severe woodworm damage that needed to be replaced. Woodworm create tunnels through the timber eventually weakening the structure and eventually causing it to crumble. If there is any doubt as to whether the woodworm are live or not, a woodworm specialist should always be consulted.
