Restoration of an Original Wood Floor

Last week saw the restoration of an original tongue and groove wood floor. Restoration involves sanding the floor to get rid of the old varnish, any stains and any inground dirt. This one was quite a tough one and it needed a really good sand to get it back to it’s former glory! I also had to take up a couple of boards from another room to put in place of the damaged ones.

As you can see form the Before and After pictures below, it was quite a transformation!
