Douglas Fir Parquet Restoration in Carshalton

Last week we worked in Carshalton and restored a very old, tired-looking douglas fir parquet. Floor restoration takes a lot of hard work, and to get a really good finish, you need to be using the best equipment, that is why, several years ago, I decided to upgrade my machinery to some of the best on the market.  As you can see from the pictures, the parquet started off looking very orange, but once the dust-free sanding machines had worked their magic, it became a much nicer, lighter colour and was completely transformed! The varnish top coat used was Bona Traffic which is extremely hard wearing and will withstand wear from footfall for many years. For more information on Bona Traffic varnish, click here.
