Oak Finger Parquet Restoration in Wallington

Another sucessful parquet flooring restoration carried out last week, in a flat in Wallington, Surrey. The floor had quite a few stains on it, and a fair few gaps, but once the gaps had been filled, and the Lagler sanding machines had worked their magic, the floor looked as good as new.

I firstly used my Lagler Hummel belt sander, which is really good for taking the top layer off of the floor, I then used my Lagler Flip edging sander to go around the edges of the floor, as the belt sander is too big to get right in. This was then followed by the Lagler Trio finishing sander, which gives the nice smooth finish. All three machines are virtually dust-free, which is a lot nicer for both me and the customer!

I then sealed the floor with Bona Prime Classic UX primer, followed by two coats of Bona Mega One floor varnish.
