Pine Parquet Restoration in Sutton, Surrey

Last week I worked in Sutton, and restored a very old, pine parquet floor that had been hidden under carpet for years. As you can see from the pictures, the floor was in quite a bad condition as it had never been sanded before, however once the sanders had worked their magic, the blocks looked as good as new. There were also a few loose blocks that needed sticking down, particularly around the edges – this is very common in old, parquet floors, and once they were stuck in place, it was then followed by a full, dust-free sand, followed by a coat of Bona primer, and two coats of Bona Traffic Go varnish. As you can see from the pictures, I got an excellent result and the customer was very happy.
